Welcome to our website and thank you for showing an interest in Newtown Primary School, Exeter.

We are a small school compared with other schools in Exeter and see this as an advantage as the staff can really get to know the children.

The school became a primary school in September 2005 and we have greatly enjoyed having older children as part of our school community.

Newtown Primary School has a centre for children with speech and language difficulties. Many of these children are out of the school's catchment area and come to school by taxi from as far as Okehampton.
