Coronavirus Update

We are still open, but numbers are understandably depleted. We have approximately 75% of pupils in school today. At the moment our staff:pupil ratio is good, so we will not be closing unless directed to do so.

There is a very calm atmosphere in school.

We want to reduce adult footfall in the school buildings, so we ask that at morning drop off and afternoon collection you do not enter the school buildings - please leave/collect your children at the door they usually use. We also ask that you only go to the school office if it is for something essential which could not be done via phone, ClassDojo or email.

We intend to switch on our home learning platform on Monday - at this point children will be able to logon to the Wonde site with the emoji password that was sent home last week and have full access to the apps including Google Classroom: https://edu.wonde.com/login/newtown
Classteachers will set assignments for their classes from Monday. On the school's website you will find links to useful learning based websites for the children to access at home. https://www.newtown.devon.sch.uk/home-learning-2/
